Amy Carroll Bennett
Cereus by Amy Carroll Bennett

Cereus is known as the most beautiful
flower in the world. Unfortunately, she’s
also known for being vain and selfish!
When a terrible drought threatens her
lush valley home Cereus must learn a
life-changing lesson about the
importance of generosity and friendship.
Amy Carroll Bennett lives in Centre, Alabama with her
husband and two sons. She works as the Minister of
Music and as the Children’s Minister at her church. She
has always loved writing and telling stories. She also
enjoys working with children and young people in Arts
Education and volunteers with her local theatre as a
performer and director.

When she’s not writing or making music or taking care of
her family or church, Amy can be found paddling around
Weiss Lake in her kayak.
