| Christina Reza, author of The Valley of the Yellow Flowers Christina is a wife, mother of two, and elementary school teacher in California's Inland Empire. Her life-long love of reading and story telling was eagerly shared when she became a mother. Frequent trips to the library introduced Christina and her children to the incredible world of children's books. Authors such as Don Freeman and Kevin Henkes were favorites that her children wanted to hear over and over again. However, it was celebrated author Jane Yolen's work that inspired Christina to try her hand at writing. The Valley of the Yellow Flowers is her first published work and was inspired by a bedtime story she would tell her children. |
