| Jessica Monahan grew up in Oak Park, Illinois and attended Western Illinois University where she obtained a master’s degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration. She has worked as a park ranger, special education paraprofessional, and recreation specialist at a job training facility for low-income young adults.
